  • Foot and Mouth Disease Precaution

    Please note that due to the recent outbreak of this disease, that has effected several cattle farms in and around Gauteng already.

    To protect our animals as best as possible, NO CONTACT is allowed with any of the cow or calves on the farm until further notice.

    Please bear with us while this outbreak is contained and passes.

    We are hoping that you will all be able to interact with our animals again soon!

  • A Gentle Reminder from Irene Farm: No Helium Balloons Allowed

    At Irene Farm, the safety and wellbeing of our animals is our top priority. Sadly, we recently experienced the devastating loss of two of our cherished dairy cows due to plastic waste left on the property.

    This painful incident has prompted us to take immediate action to prevent further harm to our animals and preserve the natural beauty of our farm.

    Effective immediately, helium balloons are no longer permitted on the farm.
    Floating balloons pose a serious risk when they escape into the environment and are ingested by our livestock.

    You are welcome to bring balloons filled with regular air — as long as they are secured and cannot float away.

Our family-friendly restaurant in Centurion, The Barn Restaurant offers intimate inside dining as well as outside seating under the old oak trees. Making it the ultimate family hangout with an adventurous jungle gym, antique tractors for exploring and farm animals to see. Parents get to relax whilst the kids are entertained.

The Barn Restaurant is perfect for any get-together whether it’s just a quick coffee or a lazy afternoon lunch or even dinner (Thursdays to Saturdays).
