OUR STORY

Irene Farm is the ultimate farm in the city – perfect for a family-friendly day out in Centurion. A picturesque gem that is nestled between the sprawling cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg, a visit to this old-style, storybook, working farm in the city is a must! On-site restaurants, a fully stocked farm shop, walking trails and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the herd, are just some of the highlights you will experience.

Our family-friendly restaurant in Centurion, The Barn Restaurant offers intimate inside dining as well as outside seating under the old oak trees. Making it the ultimate family hangout with an adventurous jungle gym, antique tractors for exploring and farm animals to see. Parents get to relax whilst the kids are entertained.

The Barn Restaurant is perfect for any get-together whether it’s just a quick coffee or a lazy afternoon lunch or even dinner (Thursdays to Saturdays).

The Deck Cafe overlooks the sprawling lawns and trees of Irene Farm. Sit back and relax with a view of peace and tranquility in the city! Perfect setting for a breakfast or lunch. Pop through The Deli on your way out or in as an extra added convenience.

Modern times are trending towards what yesteryears were like and so it’s no wonder that The Deli continues to grow in popularity. More and more people are wanting to return to basic good health.

Those of us who remember our milk being delivered to our doorsteps will love the experience of nostalgia a visit to The Deli brings. Just like the cream used to rise to the top (causing a fight over who would get to scoop it off!), so our farm shop will remind you of the good old days.
